RECAP
This week we had a great G/3+2, 9 round blitz event! 18 players, and 3 prizes. Ian Dudley, took first place with 8 pts, followed by Ali Alizada in second with 7 pts and the best under 1200 Ted Chang with 5 pts.
Ali thrilled the field with a round 5 win over Ian delivering just his second defeat this year, and the drama didn’t stop there. Linus, Josh, Artem, Melchol & Travis all took their shots at Ian too and round after round were all at one point contending for the top spots. Ultimately Ian and Ali took the day with Melchol, Linus, and Travis tying for 3rd with 6 pts each. Amazing results!
Congrats and thank you everyone who played and helped out! We love that everyone loves the blitz events, so make sure to prepare yourselves for The 2nd Annual Piermont Cup Blitz Championship 2026 coming January 17th! Its going to be great!
